New Age Spirituality: Rethinking Religion
Edited by Steven J. Sutcliffe and Ingvild Saelid Gilhus
Acumen Publishing Ltd, 2013
Rather than treating new age as exotic or on the fringes of “proper” religion, New Age Spirituality: Rethinking Religion, examines the field as part of everyday “lived” religion. The book brings together an international cast of scholars to explore topics and case studies in healing, divination, meditation, extraordinary experiences, and the nature of interactions with gods, spirits, and superhuman powers.
